Making time to do the things

Making time to do the things.

I am frequently asked about how to find the time to prioritize and accomplish certain tasks, such as xyz. While I do not possess the ability to magically extend the hours in a day, I am certain that there is no magical solution in the form of a lotion, potion, book, program, or supplement that can create more time either.

When something truly excites you, when you have a deep passion for it, and when it holds great significance for you, you will find a way to make it happen. It becomes a natural and effortless part of who you are, requiring little to no deliberation or hesitation. When something resonates with your core values and goals, nothing can stand in the way of you achieving it.

Identity is the cornerstone of our existence. When we align our actions with our true selves, focusing on what truly ignites our passion, what brings us joy, and honing in on our unique skills, talents, and gifts, we create a life of purpose and meaning. It's essential to pursue and share with the world what we are meant to offer. Time isn't a factor.

When someone asks, "how do I find time to do xyz," it prompts us to question if xyz holds significance to that individual. Are they pursuing it out of genuine interest, or are they feeling pressured by external influences such as societal expectations or comparisons? Even if we could magically create more time, it wouldn't be sustainable if it lacks intrinsic motivation and alignment with our true selves.

It's important to know what is really important to us and to behave in a way that is true to who we are. We humans will do WAY more when something is attractive, satisfying, exciting, and based on positive good feelings than negative.

When evaluating the tasks and goals that you have set for yourself, it is important to consider where these aspirations are coming from. Are they truly aligned with your own desires and values, or are you simply feeling obligated to pursue them due to outside influences?

Thinking about what makes you feel joy and fulfilled can help you find a path that is exciting, challenging, meaningful, and purposeful. Focus on things that match your beliefs and goals to live a life that is true to yourself. Take time to review your goals and dreams to make sure they represent who you are and what you want in life.

Our thoughts have a powerful impact on our emotions and actions.

They can either ignite a fire in our hearts, driving us towards our goals, or they can create barriers that prevent us from moving forward. Our thoughts are like a collection of stories, beliefs, judgments, assumptions, expectations, and perceptions that shape our reality.

When we find ourselves unable to follow through on our intentions, it's easy to blame external factors like lack of time (or other external things). However, this excuse only serves to mask the true underlying issues that are holding us back. By constantly telling ourselves that we don't have enough time, we are feeding into a sense of helplessness that drains our mental, emotional and physical energy and prevents us from taking action.

The strongest emotions always wins.

Negative emotions have a stronger hold on us than positive ones, making it even more difficult to break free from feelings of helplessness.

When we're stuck in this mindset, we become unable to see the real obstacles that are impeding our progress. This is where having a thinking partner becomes invaluable, as they can help us uncover our blind spots and identify the root causes of our struggles.

In order to move forward powerfully, we must be willing to confront our limiting beliefs and thought patterns. By working with a thinking partner or coach, we can gain a fresh perspective and develop strategies to overcome our obstacles. Remember, we can't fix what we can't see - so let's start by shedding light on our innermost thoughts and beliefs.
