FAILURE is Encouraged

Failure is often viewed as a negative outcome, but it is actually a great thing. Let's flip the switch on how we view the word: FAILURE.

If you want to be great at something, you must first be willing to be bad at it.

So much can be learned from failure when you lean into the fear, push past it, and do it anyways. By facing your fears head on and taking action, you provide your brain and nervous system with proof and evidence that you are capable of overcoming challenges. That you didn't DIE as a result.

Facing fears, is a process allowing you to grow and learn from the experience, ultimately leading to personal development and self-improvement. Embracing failure as a learning opportunity can lead to greater success in the long run.

How can you go out there and fail this week?

  • Afraid of someone telling you no? Ask someone random to borrow 100 dollars.
  • Afraid of asking for a date? Ask someone random in a public place for a coffee date.
  • Afraid to be turned down at a job that’s above your skill level? Go and apply for 20 jobs outside your comfort zone.

The worst thing to happen isn't failure; it's not even trying and regretting even trying.

Your thoughts are what’s preventing you from doing amazing things in this thing we call life. Your brain has ONE job to keep you safe and alive. So if you believe your thoughts that are scary or fear based each time this fear will increase, each time shrinking your world into further isolation and greater limits where you’re experiencing life less and less leading to isolation (form of torture)

We are all pre-conditioned to quit. It’s human nature given that our brains are hardwired for survival. Resist this automatic reaction to your thoughts!

It's completely normal to feel afraid of rejection or failure, but the only way to overcome that fear is by facing it head-on. Instead of letting fear hold you back, challenge yourself to step out of your comfort zone. (start small) Take risks, even if it means risking rejection. By pushing yourself to ask for what you want, whether it's a loan, a date, or a job, you'll not only build resilience but also increase your chances of success. Remember, failure is not the end, it's just a stepping stone towards growth and self-improvement. So go out there, take risks, and don't be afraid to fail, because each failure brings you one step closer to success.

I can get behind failure, what I can't get behind is not even trying. Go out there, fail, reflect, and try again!
