If you're operating from a default or autopilot this will seem impossible. I point my clients to becoming more aware, awake, alert and conscious. When we gain deeper greater depths of conscious awareness we have an infinite number of choices on how to respond to life.
When we are on cruise control and coasting through life, it will feel as though we are out of control and everything around you is creating your life. Well, it is, because you're thinking and believing it does, and you're giving your power away.
By being aware of your thoughts, emotions, and repairing your triggers, you can learn to manage your reactions more effectively. Taking a moment to pause and be present before responding can make a significant difference in how you navigate challenging circumstances. Being more reflective will give you a sense of control back. This is focusing on your emotional regulation and intelligence.
