It is important to recognize the weight and significance of the words you choose to share, as they have the potential to shape perspectives, uplift spirits, and drive positive actions. Embrace the power of your words and use them wisely to spread positivity, love, and encouragement in the world.
What you think and say has a profound impact on how you experience and navigate through your reality.
The words and beliefs that resonate deep within your core, that are ingrained in your very being, hold the power to shape your world. The statements that you create and articulate the create goose bumps and set your heart on fire, these are from your inner knowing, wisdom, God, spirituality or whatever it is that you believe in.
It is essential to discern between what aligns with your truth and what does not, as the opinions and values of others do not define your path. A lot of people I first start working with are living the life they are conditioned to live or feel pressured to live, and this has them feeling lost, confused, miserable, and misunderstood.
Your thoughts, beliefs, and attachments are the driving force behind the quality of your life, determining whether you walk a path of peace of mind or one filled with resentment and misery.
Embrace the power of your own mind and heart, for they hold the key to unlocking a life filled with peace and fulfillment.
Think of something you "should be doing". Go ahead and write it down... "I should be doing _____" fill in the blank, then follow these steps...
- Replace with SHOULD with COULD
- Replace COULD with CAN
- Replace CAN with WILL
- Replace WILL with I AM
- Replace I AM with EXCITED TO
- Add because at the end
Here's an example: "I should walk more each day"
- I could walk more each day.
- I can walk more each day.
- I will walk more each day.
- I am walk more each day.
- I am excited to walk more each day.
- I am excited to walk more each day because it's taking really good care of my body and it gives me time and space to reflect on what I am grateful for.
Read each of these out loud, the statements you come up with, and try them each on slowly like a new pair of shoes. How do they feel when trying them on?
What do you feel in your body, your mind?
Notice if your mind and ego start to intervene and justify or "yea but.." and make up excuses. This is a habit of thought pattern that's likely served you in some way for a long time. And that's fantastic because what's learned can be unlearned.
Like all habits they can be broken and new habits can be created.
Notice how what you think, believe, and become attached to either sets you into action, often confused with "motivation" or it keeps you stuck on the couch in your comfort zone.
Notice how sneaky your mind and brain go into action and attempt to distract you and confuse you. Well meaning of course..
What you are thinking and believing in each moment is what sets you into motion or keeps you experiencing the familiar.
Some don't crack this code until the pain of being stuck becomes so bad and they hit rock bottom before seeking help and support. Don't let that be you, be courageous and get help and support.
This is a simple exercise, it can be done alone, what I find is a lot of individuals can make logical, agree on an intellectual level and make sense of it, but without support they revert to their old engrained thought loops and well, continue to get more of the same.
We don't learn and change by reading a quote, we learn when we apply principles in our real life in real time, and make mistakes, come back and get support on how to navigate it again and keep trying until it become second nature. This is what coaching is for.
Want to train your brain to work for you rather than against your goals, I can help!
