Are you Accepting of your Circumstances?

Cultivating acceptance can be a challenging journey for many individuals.

The bottom line is you have two choices

  • To change it
    • or
  • To accept it

Can't change it, well that leaves acceptance.

Acceptance requires a deep level of consciousness, introspection, and a willingness to let go of preconceived notions, rules, assumptions, expectations, opinions, what's fair, and judgments. It involves acknowledging and embracing all aspects of oneself, both positive and negative, without judgment or criticism.

Acceptance also means being open to new perspectives, experiences, and possibilities, and being willing to adapt and change as needed.

Acceptance is being at peace with what is.

Being able to accept reality for what it is, means to stop resisting what's outside your control.

What can you control anyways?

Answer: Your behavior, that's it.

When you have a deep understanding of how to command your brain, mind, and thoughts to work for you rather than against you, you will find that your thoughts and feelings precede your behaviors. This means that you are able to live life more fully, as you are in control of your actions and responses to life. Being in this state of flow allows things to happen more smoothly and effortlessly, as you are able to navigate challenges with ease and grace. By mastering the art of commanding your thoughts and emotions, you are able to cultivate a sense of inner peace and fulfillment, leading to a more balanced and harmonious life.

Be willing and open to always learning more about yourself and others, so you can be kinder and more understanding.

Ultimately, acceptance leads to freedom and peace of mind, allowing us to live authentically and fully in the present moment.

The rewards of cultivating acceptance can be immensely fulfilling.

By embracing acceptance, we can reduce stress, improve relationships, and live more authentically. It is a practice that requires patience, compassion, and dedication, but the benefits far outweigh the effort.

  • Do you find it easy or hard to cultivate acceptance?
  • What if you had someone supporting you in creating more acceptance in your life, what would open up for you in your life?
  • What opportunities would become available?
  • How would your relationships improve?
  • What would I notice or see you doing by having the belief that you are accepting of what ever happens in your life?
  • How powerful would would it be to have greater acceptance in your life?

Here's an example of not having acceptance.

It's raining outside.

I don't like rain.

I wish it wasn't raining.

My day would be better if it wasn't raining.

My day is ruined because it's raining.

Every day it's raining and it's a drag.

Why does it always have to be raining why can't it be nice every day?

I am angry because it's raining.

I am not going to work out because it's raining.

I am going to eat what I want today because it's raining.

I am going to cancel my plans today because it's raining.

I am going to be in a bad mood today because it's raining.

Acceptance is, "Yep it's raining."
