You Have Trouble Sticking With Healthy Eating

It is too easy to eat bad things. Everywhere you go, there’s luring advertisements, and deep-fried or sugar-coated food smells in the air. When you understand the role of sugar in the human body, you will realize that all the boxes and bags are just trying to take your money, and the companies do not care about your health how you feel, how confident you are, or if you live or die.

Can you name a restaurant where you can quickly get healthy food? I have spoken to many restaurant owners, and they state they have very few healthy items on their menu because healthy ingredients perish fast and not order often enough. Supply and demands are what drives menu options.

A grilled chicken salad can be healthy, but just because they call it a grilled chicken salad doesn’t automatically mean that it is. Many salads I see are worse for us than ordering the burger and fries! The sizes, toppings, and dressing are making them 1,000 calories or more!

What to do between doctors' appointments, filling the gaps.

In our conventional healthcare system, physicians often have to a limited amount of time with their patients, typically 10-15 minutes, due to high demands and regulations. Study after study proves there is a connection between nutrition, healthy lifestyle, and exercise. Many medical professionals do not have adequate education in diet or exercise to provide the kind of guidance and support that patients need or the time to lay out how to eat better or exercise more. You’ll often hear the doctor or nurse ask, “how much exercise do you get in a week?” and they write down your answer. Then they will ask, “what is your diet like?” and write your answer down. There may be a mention toward the end of your appointment about “you should be eating better and exercising more,” but what does that mean??
This is where health coaches fill in the gaps; they dedicate their undivided attention to listen and layout a plan that can be implemented slowly and personalized. Coaches are essential to have between appointments. Imagine how it will feel to go back to the doctor and show that you can change your habits and lifestyle, improving your lab results!

Studies Show Health Coaches Effective in Helping People Lose Weight, Live Healthier Lives

While there is no magic bullet to successfully losing weight, studies prove that health coaches provide the best results.
Health coaches WANT to see their clients succeed, so we don’t start you off on a restrictive diet or make dramatic changes that you aren’t ready for. Instead, we help you implement small changes, little by little, at a pace that’s comfortable for you. It’s about taking a realistic approach to meeting all your health goals. And, if you fall off the wagon, they offer the non-judgmental support you need to get back up. 1% improvement each day is 37 times improvement after a year!
